The selection process consists of the following stages:

Type: MCQ-based (Multiple Choice Questions)

Total Questions: 60 questions, 1 mark each

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (PH candidates get extra 20 minutes)

Selection will be based on marks from different parameters:

Written Examination: 60 marks

Academic Qualification: 10 marks

Based on Graduation/Post-Graduation marks (whichever is higher)

60% and above → 10 marks

50%–59% → 8 marks

Below 50% → 6 marks

No rounding off allowed

Teaching Experience: 10 marks

At secondary level in Government/Govt.-aided schools

2 marks per year of service

While applying online, candidates can claim marks for Experience by providing:

Candidates will be called in the ratio of 1.6 : 1 of final vacancies.

If more than one candidate is at the cut-off score, all will be called.

A candidate must obtain cut-off marks for merit listing.
