Q: My OBC status has changed as per BCW Department notifications dated 18.06.25. What should I do?
Ans: The status must be updated as per category details mentioned in the notification and drop-down menu during online application. Correct OBC details must be provided.
2. Candidate without OBC Certificate
Q: I do not have an OBC certificate yet, or my category has changed. What should I do?
Ans: If you do not have a valid certificate, you cannot be considered under OBC. You may apply under General category instead. The ‘caste certificate no. field’ is not mandatory. Verification of category details will be done only after publication of written examination results.
3. Re-uploading of Photo with Signature
Q: I have uploaded my photo and signature correctly earlier. Do I need to re-upload it again?
Ans: No re-uploading is required if you have already uploaded properly with clear image quality. Re-uploading is necessary only if the system notified you to update.
